The Chicago Bears have been one of the most impressive teams in football through three games and in Week 4 the team will face off against its first NFC North divisional opponent as they travel to play the 2-1 Detroit Lions on Sunday at 1:00 PM from Ford Field.
The game will start at 1 pm and the early coverage will be on FOX for the NFC game and the Bears will be looking to improve to 4-0 this season and there are a number of teams looking to do the same, including the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs and the Bears are among that group and has looked as good as anyone.

The addition of Marc Trestman as head coach has clearly paid off through three games, as Jay Cutler looks more comfortable in the pocket than he has in years and he has barely been touched this season compared to last year when he led the league in sacks through the first three games. Trestman has fixed the offensive line with two rookies and some veterans and it appears to be paying off for Cutler as well as wideout Brandon Marshall and running back Matt Forte, who is finally getting some consistent touches after being underused the past few years.
Forte makes the offense dynamic and while their defense has some holes, the Bears have all the elements of a playoff team and a possible Super Bowl contender, especially on offense. No one calls Cutler elite, but he has that talent and now it finally appears that things are coming together and with elite starts like Marshall and Forte in the offense, this could be a strong Bears team in 2013. The Lions have looked good as well and the game on Sunday should be a tough test for both sides.
10 wins last season were not good enough to keep Lovie Smith in his job and now Trestman takes over and he has yet to lose a game. The Bears opened the season with a dramatic comeback win over the Bengals and then hosted Minnesota in another close game, pulling it out 31-30. The team improved to 3-0 against the 0-2 Steelers on Sunday night football with a dominating win that only got kinda close late after they pulled out to a big lead.
After playing the Lions, the team will host the New Orleans Saints and then the New York Giants on another Sunday night game before playing the Washington Redskins. The team will play that game on the road before heading into the bye week and then they will get a long couple weeks to prepare for Monday night against the Packers in a game that will be on ESPN. The Bears schedule has a number of division games in the back end, with Detroit at home next before the Bears play the Ravens and the Rams.
The Bears then will travel to Minnesota for Week 13 before playing against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night football at Soldier Field on ESPN in Week 14 and then the final stretch has the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles on the road before finishing at home against Green Bay in a game that could have NFC and divisional implications.
