Boston College vs. USC Live Stream: Watch Online College Football Trojans Streaming

Sep 14, 2013 02:38 PM EDT

The USC Trojans have been on a downward spiral since coming into last season as the preseason number one ranked team and after going just 7-6, head coach Lane Kiffin could be on thin ice if the team falls to 1-2 in 2013 and that is on the line on Saturday as Boston College visits Southern California at the LA Coliseum at 3:00 PM on the Pac-12 Network.

The Trojans opened the season with a 30-13 victory over Hawaii, but things started to heat up for Kiffin after a 10-7 loss at home against Washington State and now the team will try to rebound at home against a 2-0 Boston College team. The Eagles are coming off of two near identical score wins over Villanova and Wake Forest and now the team will travel to play the Trojans before hosting a big game against current number 10 Florida State.

The two teams are not very familiar with each other and have played just three times previously, with the Trojans taking each of the matchups and the game will start at 3 pm on 710 ESPN Radio out west and it will be on TV on the Pac-12 Network. Cody Kessler is now the legit starter for Kiffin and with Marqise Lee on the outside, there is a chance that the Trojans could put up some points after being embarrassed by the Cougars. The Trojans were expecting to be a national contender last year and now the team is hoping to salvage things against the Eagles.

Kessler and Max Wittek were previously splitting time at quarterback, but after the bad loss against the cougars Kessler will get his third start and he will go up against Chase Rettig for the Eagles and he has been a steady presence over the past few seasons, contrasting what has been going on with the Trojans. Lee put up fantastic numbers last season while coming in fifth in Heisman voting and Rettig is coming back to his home state to play after missing on just seven of 30 passes against Villanova in the opening win.

The Trojans will rely on Tre Madden as he is the team's leading rusher and he comes into the game after rushing for over 100 yards in each of the first two games, including last week when he rushed for 151 yards against the Cougars. The Trojans need a good game on both sides of the ball on Saturday to keep the crowd on their side after fans chanted for Kiffin to be fired last week in the loss against Washington State.

The Trojans have Utah State after playing the Eagles and then will travel to Arizona State before playing Arizona at home on Fox Sports 1. The Trojans then have a huge national game against Notre Dame on Oct. 19 and that is before back to back road games against Oregon State and California. The biggest matchup of the season for the team is a home game against No. 5 Stanford and that comes before playing Colorado and UCLA to finish the year.

BC will play against Florida State and then Army before a huge matchup against No. 3 Clemson and then the team has a tough road schedule with four of their final six games coming away from home. The team will play at North Carolina and New Mexico State before finishing against Maryland and Syracuse. The Eagles and Trojans play on the Pac-12 Network on Saturday.
