The second week of the NCAA college football season has one huge game between top ranked Alabama and number six Texas A&M, while another matchup between top 25 teams could be just as entertaining as the UCLA Bruins travel to Nebraska to take on the Cornhuskers.
The Bruins come in after a long layoff since defeating Nevada 58-20 to open the season and after two weeks they will travel to Memorial Stadium for a big game between undefeated teams. The Cornhuskers are 2-0 on the year and ranked 23rd in the nation and they are coming off of a huge 56-13 victory over Southern Mississippi last week. The Bruins were one of the top offensive teams in the nation last season and Brett Hundley is returning after putting up over 270 passing yards last week in the victory over the Wolfpack.

The two teams played a very entertaining game last season and scored a combined 60-plus points, while UCLA gained over 650 yards of offense in the victory at the Rose Bowl. This time the game is shifting to Corn country and the Bruins have spent the past two weeks preparing for the matchup. The team is dealing with a tragic situation after wideout Nick Pasquale was killed after getting hit by a car and this the first time the team will play since the incident. Last season the Bruins went 9-5 and they are looked at as a better team than their crosstown rivals in the USC Trojans.
Hundley is one of the best athletes in the Pac-12 and he rushed for two touchdowns last week to go along with two passing touchdowns in the win over Nevada. Last season Hundley was a killer against the Huskers, gaining nearly 400 yards in the victory and now Nebraska has been preparing for his style of play heading into the game. Nebraska usually has a stout defense and after playing the Bruins last season head coach Bo Pelini knows that he will have to slow Hundley down.
UCLA has a tough schedule this season, especially with a road game in Lincoln in just the second week, and after playing New Mexico State and Utah next, the team has a tough stretch with Cal, Stanford and Oregon, the latter two being championship contenders in the Pac-12. The team finishes the second part of the season with Colorado, Arizona, Washington and Arizona State before ending on the road against the Trojans in LA. The Nebraska and UCLA game will be on ABC at 12:00 pm noon.
