The Aaron Hernandez murder case involving the shooting death of Odin Lloyd will move to superior court on Friday for an arraignment scheduled for 2 pm and as the date is scheduled, many wonder if girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins will be in attendance.

Jenkins previously attended the hearings for Hernandez and saw as he was denied bail in the case back in the summer and now September 6 will be the next major date. According to SI.com, the arraignment has been set for Superior Copier in Fall River and this comes after he was previously indicted for the murder in the case in August. The body of Lloyd, a 27-year-old football player, was found less than a mile from Hernandez's home and he has been painted by lawyers as the ringleader in the killing.

Reports have him tied to the murder through shell casings, video evidence, text messages and more and he is currently being held in the Bristol County House of Correction without bail and is in solitary away from the other inmates. Hernandez is facing life in prison for the crimes and so far the murder weapon has not been found, although police did search a storage unit that was in Jenkins's name after they believed she may have hid the weapon.

According to reports, Jenkins was seen taking a bag out of the house in North Attleboro with a rigid object in it and although police did not find anything, they felt it was reasonable to search her unit. Reports have come out surrounding the case about the relationships between the parties involved and lawyers say the killing stemmed from a disagreement in a club between Hernandez and Lloyd and said that it may be connected to a double murder from last July.

Hernandez was released by the Patriots the day he was arrested despite previously signing a $40 million deal and his cousin has also been jailed because she refused to testify in the grand jury. This same cousin bought a bus ticket for accomplice Ernest Wallace and she also allegedly knew accomplice Carlos Ortiz, both of whom are also in custody. Jenkins and her sister may have been the connections, as Shaneah was reportedly dating Odin Lloyd when he was killed.

A Rolling Stone article alleges that Hernandez was a drug user that was paranoid and that may have led to the killing. The case now will move into superior court in Mass and he could face a trial at some point next year. While the defense feels that the evidence in the case is circumstantial, the state obviously feels differently and it will be interesting to see what comes out on Friday in superior court and what happens next.
