AP Top 25 College Football Schedule: Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon Play Saturday

The college football season is getting ready to start full throttle on Saturday and after South Carolina defeated its neighbor to the North on Thursday, a number of teams in the AP Top 25 will be in action, including Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, Clemson and Michigan among others.

Alabama is opening the season against Virginia Tech and this comes after they opened with Michigan last season, as Nick Saban likes to challenge his team early in the season. Alabama is looking for their third straight championship under the head coach and quarterback AJ McCarron returns to the team as well. Clemson and Georgia is the top game on the schedule since it is the only one with two top 10 teams, while Texas A&M will face off against Rice on Saturday with Johnny Manziel playing the second half.

Ohio state will open up against Buffalo this season, while another top game is LSU and TCU going at it as another matchup of top 25 teams as well. Oklahoma State and Miss State will play each other, while the Florida Gators will be hosting Toledo. Texas is ranked at number 15 and they are trying to rebound from some tough years against New Mexico State, while Notre Dame will open the season with Temple.

Michigan will play Central Michigan, while Nebraska opens with a game against Wyoming and Boise State opens the season at Washington. Oklahoma is playing LA Monroe, while Northwestern will open up with Cal and UCLA will host Nevada in Week 1. Wisconsin will play against Mass on Saturday, while Oregon State will play Eastern Washington and on Saturday, Louisville will play Ohio, while on Monday Oregon State will close things out with Pitt on the road.
