Gareth Bale Transfer Rumors: Real Madrid Deal Happening As Tottenham Star Furious With Spurs, Andre Villas-Boas Fuels Fire Before Window Deadline

Gareth Bale's move to Real Madrid from Tottenham has been taking forever and while it seemed that the deal was about to go down this past week, it is still moving along, although manager Andre Villas-Boas said on Wednesday that it could happen in days.

According to SI.com, the transfer deal for Bale from the Spurs to Real Madrid is still moving along and it would be a record move, beating out the money for Cristiano Ronaldo when he moves for 96 million Euros back in 2009 and now Bale's would be 99 million Euros, or up to $133 million.

The comments make it seem like the deal will actually go through before the deadline ends on Monday and reports say that Bale is angry, frustrated and furious at the club for making things so complicated, meaning that a split is all but guaranteed now. Villas-Boas said that a deal would get done and even if it lasts past the deadline and it appears that the deal will actually go down after weeks upon weeks of speculation.

"At the moment, the two clubs are speaking - Tottenham and Real Madrid - to outline the final decisions or statements of contracts," Villas-Boas said. "I am not sure how much time it will take. It could happen very, very soon. But it might not happen so soon, so I suppose it could go to the last days or it could happen in the next two days."

Bale is considered to be one of the top young players in the world and now he will move to Real Madrid to give the club two of the best players in the sport. Bale will compete for Champions League and La Liga titles, although Yahoo reports that Wales has a bad World Cup team, so he likely won't play for a World Cup. Bale's press conference is expected to be on Tuesday and while he said that he could stay at Tottenham for more time, he realized playing for Real Madrid was too good to pass up.

The report says that Bale will have a six-year contract at $15 million per year and according to Yahoo, he will be introduced at Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday.; The move for Bale is likely a response to Barcelona signing Neymar and finishing ahead in La Liga and now he joins a club that has had some of the best players in the world. Bale has been considered a great talent for some time and now he will have the contract and the pressure behind it.

Bale has developed into one of the best players in the world while playing for the Spurs and he won numbers awards last season and also had 26 goals and is still very young at 26. Bale was the league and Football Writers' Association player of the year last season and his new deal would be a record after the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo for 80 back in 2009 from Manchester United.
