News has been coming out recently about Real Madrid's bid to get Tottenham star Gareth Bale and now reports have come out that the Spurs will sell Bale to the club for 100 million while also requesting striker Alvaro Morata in a deal.

The club has already offered a record amount for Bale at £86 million (€100m), but that alone has not been able to get chairman Daniel Levy to go forward, but the addition of Morata may make things easier. According to the Guardian, the deal is moving and the club had already put Fábio Coentrão and the winger Angel di María in a package, but the Spurs have asked for Morata as the main one to go. The 20-year-old is highly regarded by the club and would be a tough move to make, but Real Madrid wants Bale badly.

Real watched as Morata helped bring the Golden Boot by winning the European Under-21 Championships this summer and overall the package the Spurs receive will be over 100 million if he is involved. Real already sold Gonzalo Higuaín to Napoli this summer for 32 million and now the club must consider whether they want to lose Morata for Bale. His contract will be up in 2015 and the club wanted to bring him in on a long-term deal.

Tottenham is moving forward this summer during the transfer window and are working on signing Roberto Soldado from Valencia for around 26-30 million, which will set the club record after they spent £17 million for midfielder Paulinho from Corinthians. The club executives said that the deal is basically done, but is just hung up on some small issues with the player. The Spurs are thrilled about the move of the 28-year-old and he comes in after scoring 30 goals in 46 appearances for Valencia.

Tottenham is also looking to sign Steaua Bucharest central defender Vlad Chiriches and have also signed Nacer Chadli from Twente for seven million. The biggest news this summer is about Bale and now it appears that the 24-year-old will get the chance to play for his dream team and now he hasn't been training with the first team group as the Spurs prepare for the season. Bale likely will not play this weekend in a friendly match against Monaco and a deal could be completed very soon.

"It is difficult to talk about Bale because at the moment he is not a Real Madrid player," the Spanish club's coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said from a training camp in the US. "I believe the club is in talks to find a solution and we will see what happens."
