Tim Tebow is now a New England Patriots quarterback, but after he was released by the New York Jets many people felt that the Jacksonville Jaguars should at least give him a shot and one of those people continues to do so, as former Limp Bizkit front man and director Fred Durst said on Reddit that they should sign him.
According to Reddit, Durst, who is from Jacksonville, was asked by a fan about the possibility of coming to a tailgate in the city, to which he responded that he felt the team could be helped by bringing in Tim Tebow. Of course now the only way that could happen is with a trade or if the Patriots release the quarterback and while that is in the realm of possibility, it is likely never going to happen, as Bill Belichick wants to keep him and he also signed a two-year contract.

Durst wrote that he thinks the team should stop "ignoring the elephant in the room" and also that the "moral" could help a lot. He likely meant "morale", but with Tebow and his religious beliefs, Durst could have meant it the way he said it as well. Many have speculated that Tebow could play tight end after what happened with Aaron Hernandez, but so far the team has not shown any signs of that. Tebow was signed after he was released by the Jets and many Jaguars fans tried to get the team to sign him, including through websites and even a White House petition.
Tebow has said all the right things with the Patriots so far and now he will get a chance to stick it to the Jets this season, as they barely used him last year and made an embarrassment of the situation. Tebow gained just 102 yards rushing and 39 passing on the year and never made it into the end zone.
