The NBA summer league often gives unknown players the chance to shine and that was surely the case for undrafted guard Ian Clark, as he showed in the finals for the Warriors that he should have a legitimate shot to make it onto a league roster this season.

Clark played for the Miami Heat in the Orlando summer league and for the Warriors in Vegas and he was key as Golden State defeated the Phoenix Suns in the finals of the tournament and now many teams may come calling. According to USA Today, the Heat, Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz are all interested in signing Clark and the Warriors may have the inside track after he played so well for them in the summer league.

The report says that Clark is also considering playing in Europe since he likely will get more guaranteed money, but no decisions have been made yet. Clark scored 33 points in the finals and the combo guard can provide teams with some flexibility off the bench if he is signed. Clark came from Belmont where he averaged nearly 20 points and he showed the summer league why he was named Ohio Valley Conference player of the year last season and he may have turned his summer play into a professional contract after not being drafted.

Clark showed range from three while going 7-for-10 on three-pointers and he added double digit scoring in all but three summer league games that he played in, shooting over 45 percent. Those types of numbers will get teams interested and now Clark has some decisions to make. The Suns played well during the summer league and were led by Archie Goodwin, who scored 18 points for the team in the loss.

Raptors star Jonas Valanciunas won MVP of the summer league after playing very well, while Clark got the MVP for the finals. Kent Bazemore had 18 for the Warriors and Marcus Morris had 17 points and six rebounds for Phoenix, while Clark was the main star of the night.
