Jul 08, 2013 04:21 PM EDT

It's been almost two months since fans saw their New York Knicks get eliminated by the Indiana Pacers from the 2013 NBA Playoffs. However, as the 2013 Summer League is set to begin in Las Vegas, Knicks rookies and other veterans are vying for spots on the 2013-2014 roster. The dates are set and we bring you the 2013 Knicks Summer League schedule. Also available thanks to Alan Hahn, MSG studio analysts, some of the players expected to partake in summer league are available.

The Knicks kick off the summer league against the tough and brand new New Orleans Pelicans. Formerly the Hornets, the organization decided to change their name to something more relevant to the city; therefore, Pelicans was the final decision. It might not sound tough, but they have a small squad filled with talent.

Game Date & Time: Friday, July 12 @4 p.m. ET

Where: COX Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada

Next up, the Knicks face the Washington Wizards a couple of days after their meeting with the Pelicans. The Wizards are looking to find cheap talent as they look to surround John Wall with gifted players. The Wizards went 29-53 last year, finishing in 12th place, nine games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Game Date & Time: Sunday, July 14 @4 p.m. ET

Where: COX Pavilion

The third game on the Knicks schedule features a matchup against the Charlotte Bobcats. In 2013, the Bobcats improved greatly after putting up the worst winning percentage in the history of the game in 2012. They finished this recent season with the second worst record in the Eastern Conference, going 21-61. They drafted the Indiana Hoosier's power forward Cody Zeller.

Game Date & Time: Monday, July 15 @4 p.m. ET

Where: Cox Pavilion

The 2013 Summer League will continue following the July 15 game, but matchups will be determined by each team's seed after the first three games. The summer league will conclude on July 22.

Here are some of the players expected to suit up in Knick uniforms during the 2013 Summer League. It will be exciting to see talented players like the team's first round pick, No. 24 overall, Tim Hardaway Jr. Along with Hardaway Jr., here are the rest of the players on the roster:
