The NBA free agency period started on Monday and after Chris Paul stated his intent to sign back with the Clippers on a $107 million deal, Dwight Howard remains the top target for various teams, including the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, Hawks and Warriors.

Many other teams have already started to make significant moves, including the Chicago Bulls, who brought in Mike Dunleavy on a two-year contract according to Pro Basketball Talk. Dunleavy is coming in on a two-year, $6 million contract and he could be a piece that could help Derrick Rose in his comeback next season, as he is a solid shooter that has been in the league for many years. The Bulls went 45-37 last season without having Rose in the lineup and the team feels it can be much stronger with both Rose and Dunleavy in the fold.

So far in his career, Dunleavy hasn't finished a season on a winning team, but that could change if he plays for the Bulls this year. Dunleavy is a great long-range shooter and he made 43 percent of his 3-pointers last season, a career high and that could be a huge boost for the Bulls, as they now have New Mexico's Tony Snell and Florida's Erik Murphy from the draft as well. Dunleavy will solidify the bench for the Bulls and could come through big time in clutch spots.

Other news from around the league includes the Lakers, who have looked into possible signing Nick Young as well as numerous other names since Dwight Howard is likely going to leave. Al Jefferson is meeting with the Bobcats as the Jazz try to keep Paul Millsap so they don't lose both stars, while Gerald Henderson and Josh McRoberts are being looked at as targets by the ream to re-sign.

Josh Smith will meet with his old team in the Hawks, but he has gotten some strong interest from around the league, including the Pistons and Celtics. The Bucks, Denver and Memphis are all looking at Tony Allen as a target and the Celtics may not be done making moves as Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries could be on the way out after coming in with the Nets trade for Garnett and Pierce.
