Joe Flacco is a Super Bowl winning quarterback and even if the offseason he can throw some more winners, as he decided to sign a pledge along with two teammates to no longer use the word 'retarded', which the quarterback caught flak for saying during Super Bowl week earlier in the year.

According to Pro Football Talk, Flacco used to word when referencing that the Super Bowl was going to be played in New York in the cold and now that he has apologized, the quarterback has decided to make his use of the word mean something. Along with Ed Dixon and center Gino Gradkowski, Flacco signed a pledge to no longer use the word and the Maryland Special Olympics page put up a photo of it. Flacco felt very baldy about his use of the word and since he works with children so much it makes the move even more important.
