NBA Standings Playoffs 2013: Justin Timberlake Likes Memphis Grizzlies To Win West Finals Even With 2-0 Hole To San Antonio Spurs As Co-Owner Talks Postseason

Justin Timberlake is an actor, musician and co-owner of the Memphis Grizzlies after buying a minority stake last year and while in Cannes to promote his new Coen Brothers film "Inside Llewyn Davis" he spoke to reporters about the film, but also his hometown team in the playoffs.

According to Hitfix.com, Timberlake spoke about the Grizzlies and despite losing Game 1 to the Spurs by a big margin at 105-83, he feels the team can win, even if they go down 2-0 with a Game 2 loss. He spoke about going down two games to the Clippers in the previous series and after defeating a tough team like the Thunder in the playoffs, they will be ready to fight the Sours once the series returns to Memphis. Timberlake bought into the team after friend Robert Pera became owner and he now has himself a fine investment since he is a fan and the team made its first finals.

Marc Gasol had 15 points and seven rebounds, while Tony Parker led the way for the Spurs with 20 points and nine assists with two steals. The Spurs held down Zach Randolph with just two points and he will need to rebound for the Grizzlies to have a chance.

"We went two games down to the Clippers, so I'm not totally worried yet," Timberlake says. "I think we'd never beaten the Thunder in the playoffs and we did and I think that was a physically draining [series] and physically draining for me to watch. Even though it took less games to beat them. We have a scrappy team so I wouldn't count them out. Even if they go down two games I wouldn't count them out."
