Sunday Night Football Score: 31-16 Dallas Cowboys Win Over Washington Redskins Week 6 On NBC

The Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins play some of the best games in the NFC East and the two rivals will meet again on Sunday night football on NBC in Week 6 starting at 8:30 pm and the game comes after a tough loss for Dallas and the first win for Washington and by the time the game kicks off, the teams will be looking up at the Philadelphia Eagles in the division.

The Redskins come into the gaving having already lost its only divisional matchup to the Eagles and after opening with that loss, the team dropped the next two games against the Green Bay Packers and then against the Detroit Lions before finally defeating the Oakland Raiders on the road before heading into the bye week. The Redskins have gotten some solid play from their receivers and winning against the Dallas Cowboys would be a nice way to start this next stretch of games, as the team is playing at home next against the Chicago Bears, who just defeated the Giants, then the team hits to the road to play the Denver Broncos.

The game against the Broncos could be a disaster waiting to happen, as the team is giving up one of the highest totals in the league in passing yards per game and Peyton Manning has the Broncos ranked first in passing yards per game with over 300. Manning has not passed for less than that this season and he has just one interception compared with 20 touchdowns. The Broncos are now 6-0 on the season after the win over the Jaguars and that will be a very tough game to win no matter how well the Redskins play. The team has more tough games coming after that, with three of the next four games coming on the road including the Broncos, with the Vikings and Eagles coming on the road with the Chargers the lone home game in that stretch.

The Redskins have gotten some solid play from Griffin despite the tough start, as he has over 1,200 yards and six touchdowns, while Pierre Garcon is leading the team with 29 catches for 330 yards and two scores. The rushing game has not been as consistent as last season, with Griffin rushing for less than 100 yards the entire season, while Alfred Morris is banged up and leading the team in rushing with 296 yards and two touchdowns. The back stretch of the season has a Monday night football game against the San Francisco 49ers and then the team has two more home games in a row against the NY Giants and the now 6-0 Kansas City Chiefs.

The final games of the season will be a road game against the Atlanta Falcons and then a home game against the Dallas Cowboys before finishing with a road game in New York against the Giants. The Cowboys are ranked in the top 10 in passing yards per game and the team will play against the Eagles and Lions before hosting the Vikings and then they have a big game against the Saints the week after that on Sunday night football again and that comes a few weeks before a Monday night football matchup. Dallas will be hosting the Redskins on Sunday night on NBC at 8:30 pm and the game will kickoff from At&T Stadium.
