Aston Villa vs. Tottenham Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming Premier League Spurs Match

Nov 02, 2014 10:49 AM EST

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are playing live on the English Premier League schedule on Sunday and the match is on at 11 am ET from the NBC Sports Network and streaming online from the NBCSN Live Extra website for the EPL late match as the Spurs visit.

Aston Villa comes in with Alan Hutton out of the matchup with an injury and the team may end up getting Nathan Baker back and the Spurs will be looking to get things going after a tough start. The team has won just one of the last seven league games and Manchester City gave them a rocking the last time they played an away match. The team is looking to get things going and Aston Villa is prime for a game like this for the Spurs, as they have not played well either.

Aston Villa has lost five games in a row in the league without scoring and Tottenham has some good history against the team coming in. The team has not lost the last 12 times out and they have won the last five and two times they won at Villa Park last season, including in League and Cup play and that should give them some confidence coming in. Villa has not scored for quite some time and two chances have come in for the team since the loss to QPR and they have been bad as well.

The team started off well with a win against Liverpool and they have lost to some tough teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City and Everton, but the QPR loss was a tough one to deal with. Tottenham has won the last five against Aston Villa and they are unbeaten at Villa Park for nearly seven years and that is on the line for the match Sunday. Tottenham has only won one game in the last seven in the EPL and that makes this more important and they are trying to avoid losing three straight league games in a row and they have not been off to as good of a start as last season.

Tottenham is in 14th place on the league table standings and Aston Villa is 15th in the league standings and the are way back of Chelsea. The Blues are in first at 26 points, while Southampton and Man City are in the top three.
