The Cleveland Browns are coming into Week 9 with Jordan Cameron banged up after suffering a concussion and for fantasy football owners that means he likely will not start and that is tough for Brian Hoyer, who remains the starter over Johnny Manziel, while Josh Gordon should be a prime fantasy football pickup, as he is set to return in a few weeks for the Browns.

Cameron has been dealing with injuries all season and now he has a concussion to deal with and the protocols that come with it. Cameron could be out until Week 10 and possibly more after suffering the concussion on a big hit against the Oakland Raiders and now he may be out against the Buccaneers this week. Cameron could be out for the next two games and that is tough for fantasy owners and the Browns, as he is one of their best offensive targets.

Cameron has played in just six games this season and the concussion marks the third time in as many years that he has had to deal with head injuries. Cameron has 13 catches for 250 yards this season and he has been a disappointment after coming in with tons of potential for fantasy owners this year. Cameron had one decent game with three catches for 102 yards and a TD against the Steelers, but he has not had more than three catches in any game this season.

According to Pro Football Talk, Brian Hoyer remains the starter after leading the team to a win over the Raiders and he likely will stay as the top QB for the rest of the season. Hoyer was not good against the Jaguars and while the team lost to give Jacksonville their first win of the season, the Browns stuck with him at quarterback over Manziel.

Hoyer has eight touchdowns and just two interceptions this season and while he has only completed 57 percent of his passes, he has not turned the ball over the Browns have not been a terrible team and that is enough for him to stay in the starting role. Hoyer has not have over 300 yards in any game and has only throw multiple touchdowns in one game, but that could change when the team plays the Buccaneers, who have been terrible this season.

For fantasy football owners, Gordon should be a prime target in trades or on the free agent market, as he is set to return in a couple weeks and could be a huge boost heading into the playoffs. Fantasy owners should do all they can to get Gordon, as he will be the main target for the Browns once he returns to the field. Gordon had an amazing season last year with 1646 receiving yards in 14 games and he also set career highs in catches and touchdowns. Gordon will need some time to get back into the swing of things, but once that happens he could have a very strong finish to the season.

The Browns were also rumored to be interested in a Vincent Jackson trade this year at the deadline, but the Bucs held onto the wideout. Jackson could get moved this offseason and with the cap space the Browns have, they could be a fit.
