Roger Federer won in five sets over Gael Monfils at the US Open 4-6, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5, 6-2 Thursday night in an epic match where Federer came back from two sets down and now he is into the semifinals of the tournament for the first time in three years.
Federer was able to battle after Monfils took the advantage and now he is into the semis and will play against Marin Cilic. The other semis match has Novak Djokovic and Kei Nishikori.
