NFL Results and Score: Seattle Seahawks Win Over Green Bay Packers To Open Season

The Seattle Seahawks won over the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night to open the season with a victory and the team got a strong game from Percy Harvin and Marshawn Lynch to get the win and the looked strong on defense after winning the Super Bowl last season.

The early part of the game saw some turnovers and Russell Wilson had two touchdowns and 191 yards passing, while Lynch went for 110 yards and two scores. Percy Harvin looked healthy after being injured last season and he had seven receptions with 59 yards in the game. The Packers dealt with some injuries and Aaron Rodgers ended up with 189 yards and one touchdown, while Jordy Nelson led the way with nine catches for 83 yards.

The Seahawks looked dominant for most of the game and they had a safety in the third quarter and the offense played well and now the Hawks are 1-0. The rest of the schedule picks up on Sunday and Monday.

The Seahawks are trying to become the first team to repeat in over a decade and Seattle also is trying to break the streak of Super Bowl champions not making the playoffs. The Ravens missed the playoffs last season and the New York Giants also missed the postseason after winning against New England.
