The Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles are playing live on the NFL Preseason schedule to start Week 3 and the TV coverage for Thursday night football is from CBS on the NFL Network and NFL.com and the game kick off is just after 7:30 pm ET and comes as Nick Foles and LeSean McCoy are ready for another string offensive season and just as Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were arrested for weed, throwing the backfield for Pitt into a tailspin.

The Steelers and the Eagles are starting things off for the rivalry weekend in some games, as they are playing an all Penn matchup, while the NY Giants and NY Jets are also playing on Friday night in New Jersey. The Eagles come into the season after making the playoffs last year, while the Steelers came close at the end but things did not cut their way.

The Steelers come into the game after splitting their first two preseason games and that saw an away loss against the Giants and a home win against the Buffalo Bills. The team has the Philadelphia Eagles on the road for week 3 and then the team plays at home against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers before starting the season. The team has two division games against the Browns and the Ravens and then they also have a four game stretch of matchups that are on the road in five weeks, including games against the Jaguars and the Browns after playing at home against the Bucs.

The Eagles come into the game after losing their first two preseason games and those came against the New England Patriots and the Chicago Bears on the road. The team now faces the Steelers and then the Jets at home and that leads into the opening game against the Jaguars and that should be a win at home before the team has Monday night football against the Colts. The team has a big matchup with the Redskins and then in Week 4 they travel to play the Niners in Cali and that is the national game of the week on FOX.

The Eagles had one of the top offenses in the league last season and they lead into the bye week with home games against the Rams and the Giants. The team comes out of the bye with three road games in four weeks, including matchups with the Cardinals, Texans and then against the Green Bay Packers while the one home game is another MNF matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
