The Fantasy Football season is getting closer to starting up and one important part of FF is team names and this year in 2014 there are some solid options with player names, pop culture picks as well as humorous and funny picks playing off names and we have put together a few lists already of team names and while some aren't as funny as others, there are plenty of options to pick from.
The fantasy season has many players wondering how to attack their drafts and for owners in PPR leagues, some names to keep an eye on include Jamaal Charles, Matt Forte and Rashad Jennings. Charles was the best player in most fantasy leagues last season and he should be the target for anyone picking in the top three picks. Forte is also another name that should be very good and he is coming off of a career year as well.
Jennings has the chance to be a breakout star, as he is joining the Giants in a bigger role than he had last season and the new offense in NY should be well suited to his talents. The Giants have the chance to be a strong offensive team and they need to after the way last season went. Jennings is a solid receiver out of the backfield and in PPR leagues he should be a high pick and could be a solid second running back in most leagues.
The Eagles are expected to be another huge offensive team this season and players like LeSean McCoy and Jordan Matthews should put up good numbers along with Darren Sproles. The past few years Sproles has been amazing in PPR leagues and now he should thrive in the offense with Chip Kelly. The Eagles will have to make up for the loss of DeSean Jackson and he is one player that can make up some of that production at least. Last season McCoy had over 1,600 yards and also added nine touchdowns on the ground and he should have another great season.
Nick Foles is a quarterback to try and snag after the way he broke out with the Eagles last season and the NFC East has some other good names to pick. Jackson should thrive in Washington with RG3 and he could be a massive performer in fantasy. Last season Jackson made 82 catches for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns and he also has as much big play ability as anyone in the league.
