Edmonton Eskimos vs. Montreal Alouettes Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming CFL Game ESPN

Aug 08, 2014 06:50 PM EDT

The Edmonton Eskimos and Montreal Alouettes are playing live on the CFL schedule on Friday night and the game starts up at 7 pm ET from ESPN and streaming online from the WatchESPN website for the Canadian Football League and the matchup is live from Percival Molson Memorial Stadium in Quebec starting up past 7 pm ET and this is a huge matchup for both teams.

Edmonton Eskimos' quarterback Mike Reilly will be looking to have a good game and the team comes into the matchup playing well and this is a chance to really put Montreal down in the standings. The west has been much better than the east this season and this is another chance to see that in action and head coach Chris Jones knows that he cannot overlook Montreal despite their tough season so far.

The west standings has Winnipeg in first place in the west and they lost in their last game and now they are leading with 10 points and they have been the most prolific offense, but have also given up the most points. The team is leading Calgary as well as Edmonton in the standings over Saskatchewan and BC and in the east the teams are a mess with a combined five wins overall. Montreal is looking to move up and so is Edmonton and right now the standings are close in both divisions and a win here could be big for both of these teams and could put Montreal on the right track.

The two teams will play again in September and that matchup will be in Edmonton after this game is in Montreal and the Alouettes really need this one, as they have just one win on the season. The Eskimos have been much better and they come into the game with a 4-1 record and will be looking to push that forward as they move along through the schedule and they will try and do it on the road.

The team played against Montreal earlier in the season already and there was some controversy for Reilly in that game and now he is hoping he can get a win. Montreal won over the team in Edmonton last year to push the playoff hopes away for the team and now Reilly will be looking to put those games behind him as he gets ready here. Montreal has been beaten up this season and they lost big to the Toronto Argonauts last week and over the past two weeks they have lost to them and to BC and they have only scored 10 points and allowed over 70 in that span and that needs to change.
