The Canadian Football League is live on from ESPN on WatchESPN with a live stream and ESPN2 for TV coverage as the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers play at Investors Group Field and the CFL matchup has the two best teams in the league against each other and that could make for some fireworks on offense for the game on Thursday.

The matchup between the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers is the best of the week, as the two teams have gone undefeated this season and have the best records in the CFL. Winnipeg has been one of the highest scoring teams and they lead the league in points and now they matchup with the number three team with Edmonton. The Bombers come into the game after playing a sloppy one last week and that saw the team get hit with 15 penalties for nearly 150 yards and now the coaching staff is looking to get that down.

Winnipeg comes in after winning their first three games and that was against Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal and that last game was a thrilled that the team won by a point. The upcoming schedule is a nice one too, as the team plays against BC after matching up with Edmonton, while the next matchup is against Hamilton before playing against Saskatchewan and then Toronto and Montreal again.

The season standings in the CFL has Edmonton and Winnipeg in the top part of the west division with six point and three wins each and they are leading over Calgary with four points and two wins. BC and Saskatchewan are in the bottom of the division for now and they each have one win and two losses with two points as the season pushes on and Saskatchewan comes in after losing two straight. The east division has Montreal leading things with just two points along with Toronto and they have one win apiece and so far not much has been happening in that division. Ottawa and Hamilton are next and they have zero points on the season and two losses each.

The CFL just signed a new deal with ESPN and they will having a lot more games on TV in America and they could reach some new fans, as the US loves their football. While the CFL has not been able to cross over like the NFL, they have plenty of talented players and the Grey Cup is also getting its due in America, as that will be televised as well. All Hail Canadian Football man, north. And Chad Johnson is there too!
