NFL Preseason Schedule 2014: TV Start Time and Channel For Week 2 Games Starting Thursday

The 2014 NFL preseason schedule is live for Week 1 and the slate has some big games and they have coverage Friday and Saturday from Fox, CBS and the NFL Network as things pick up with the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons at 7 pm ET and games go through 8 pm ET and teams like the Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills are also in action ahead of weekend games with the Giants, Steelers, Packers and Cleveland Browns and all are streaming from NFL.com.

The 2014 NFL preseason has officially started and Week 1 has a number of games starting up on Thursday and on Friday and the TV channel coverage is from CBS, Fox and the NFL Network and the start times for the games goes from 7 pm ET to 10 pm ET and comes ahead of matchups on Friday and Saturday for the first week and comes after the Giants won over the Bills in the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday night and teams like the Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints are in action Friday.

The first week of the official preseason opens with the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts matching up at MetLife Stadium and that starts up at 7 pm ET. The New England Patriots and Washington Redskins are practicing together this week and they play at 7:30 pm ET in DC for their first preseason matchup and the NFL Network has a game at the same time with the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens, a Super Bowl rematch from two seasons ago.

The Thursday night football matchups are solid for the start of the preseason and the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos game is the main one to keep an eye on. Before that game goes, Cincinnati and Kansas City will kick off at 8 pm ET, then those two giants will go at it. The Hawks obviously killed the Broncos in the Super Bowl and this time the game will be in Denver at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

The final game of the night has the Dallas Cowboys and San Diego Chargers matching up and that will be from the west coast on NFL Network at 10 pm Et. The matchups continue on Friday and that has the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons starting things off from the Georgia Dome, while the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers play at 7:30 pm ET from Bank of America Stadium.

Tampa Bay and Jacksonville play an All-Florida matchup when the Bucs visit the Jaguars, while the Oakland Raiders are visiting the Minnesota Vikings fort their first preseason game. The Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears are playing at Soldier Field, while the 8 pm ET game on Friday will be the New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Rams from the NFL Network at the Edward Jones Dome.

The Saturday matchups have the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions playing on the NFL Network and that will be the first chance to see Johnny Manziel in action. The Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers are playing at MetLife on Saturday and that is at 7:30 pm ET, while the Green Bay Packers and Tennessee Titans are also matching up. The final game of the first week has the Houston Texans visiting the Arizona Cardinals.
