The BC Lions and Calgary Stampeders are playing on the Canadian Football League schedule for Week 6 on Friday night and the game is live online from ESPN and on WatchESPN and the game starts up at 10 pm ET and is from McMahon Stadium in Alberta and this matchup has two teams looking to get things going heading into the second stretch of the season.
The Lions and the Stampeders play today and they still have two more games this season and those will be in September and then again in November. The Lions come into the game 2-3 and they now have to go on the road to beat the Stampeders, who are 4-0 and coming in after another impressive win.
The standings in the CFL have Calgary just behind Winnipeg in the division after the Blue Bombers won again and they have 10 points over eight for the Stampeders. The Blue Bombers won again and they have the top overall offense in the league and have been scoring in bunches and now the west is looking much stronger than the east this year. BC is in the bottom of the standings, but they have more points than everyone in the west and they are behind Saskatchewan and Edmonton in the standings.
The west division standings has Ottawa and everyone else at 1-3 and the Alouettes can get things right on Friday and move up with a win against Toronto, but is also in the bottom of the division with a 1-4 record. The teams in the east all have two points and they are trying to get things right heading into the meat of the season.
