The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and BC Lions are playing live on the CFL schedule on Friday night and the Canadian Football League game comes from BC Place Stadium and it starts at 10 pm ET on WatchESPN and ESPN3 for this west division matchup and the Lions come in hot.

While it's still early in the season, the Lions needed a change after starting 0-2 and now they are looking good after winning their next two games. The team had to win against the champs and they did it with a 41-5 win against Montreal and now they play against a team in Winnipeg that is coming off of a tough loss last week. Winnipeg is a high scoring team and the game could cut that way and they come into the game after starting 3-0 and they are looking to bounce back.

The Lions won against Saskatchewan and that was an important game and now they are coming into the game after winning against Montreal. The team won against the team after losing to Montreal earlier nand Emmanuel Arceneaux had three touchdowns last week. He won offensive player of the week and he is looking to have another big game this week too. The Lions rushed the ball well and they will be looking to do that again and Andrew Harris had over 140 yards from scrimmage and he will be a player to watch.

These two teams will play again later in the season and that will have the next matchup in September and that will also be at BC Place and then the third matchup will be in October. Winnipeg comes into the game 3-1 on the season, while BC is 2-2 and this game will be in British Columbia and comes ahead of Ottawa playing against Hamilton on Friday and then the Toronto Argonauts play against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Eskimos played on Thursday and that saw the Stamp win over Edmonton in the battle of Alberta, taking it 26-22 to stay undefeated. Both teams came into the game undefeated and in the matchup it was defense that won over offense, as Calgary has the best defense by points allowed and they won over Edmonton, who had the most points scored coming into the week.
