The NCAA college football bowl schedule is moving along and the BCS games are coming up and there are many predictions and projections about the ESPN matchups and games, including the Florida State and Auburn national championship game and that comes after some high profile matchups on the schedule with Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan State, Stanford and Oklahoma playing in the BCS games.

Florida State is undefeated and Auburn is red hot heading into the VIZIO BCS National Championship game and the matchup could be very high scoring, as both sides have Heisman finalists and of course the Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston took home the award and he was up against Tigers running back Tre Mason, who blew up in the SEC championship game against Missouri and that game helped put Aubrun into the national championship game in the first place. It looked as if Alabama was going to make it out of the SEC, but instead Auburn had a miracle play at the end of the game on a massive kick return off a missed field goal and that put the team in the SEC title game and they ended up scoring over 50 points in the shootout and Tre Mason finished with over 300 yards rushing and four touchdowns and now the team is matched up with undefeated FSU.

The Seminoles come into the game undefeated after winning the ACC over Duke and they haven't played in a close game all season and now they will be matched up against one of the best rushing teams in the nation with Auburn and they come in with one of the best defenses. The BCS system is over after this season, but one could easily argue that the system worked this season and put the two best teams against each other and now they are going up for battle in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and that comes after the 100th Rose Bowl game between Stanford and Michigan State.

Ohio State had the chance to make it into the national championship game undefeated after not losing in two seasons, but they lost in the Big Ten title game against Michigan State and now they will be in the Orange Bowl instead, leaving the Buckeyes to play against the Clemson Tigers from the ACC. Alabama ended up in the third spot in the final BCS standings and they will play against the Oklahoma Sooners after they made it into the BCS behind Baylor in the Big 12 after defeating Oklahoma State in the final game of the season.

Baylor ended up winning the Big 12 after everything shook out and now the team will play in the Fiesta Bowl against UCF and that could end up being being one of the most entertaining matchups of the bowl schedule, as Bryce Petty has put up some amazing numbers for the Bears. Ohio State hadn't lost in two years in the regular season when they finally fell to the Spartans and now Michigan State will be in a classic Big Ten and Pac-12 matchup with Stanford and MSU in the 100th Rose Bowl in Pasadena and that could be the game that has the best defensive units in the BCS and should be a very tight matchup and is historic for the Spartans, as they have not been to the Rose Bowl in many years.
