The Heisman Trophy award for the 2013 NCAA College Football season went to Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston as expected and now the Seminoles will prepare for the VIZIO BCS National Championship against Auburn and ESPN will have many of the bowl games this season and here is a look at some predictions and projections for the matchups in 2013-14, including for FSU, Ohio State, Alabama and Stanford.

The BCS Championship is the final one under the current system and the majority feel that the system got things right in its last year and with Florida State undefeated and Auburn defeating Alabama, it appeared to be an easy chance to praise it. Alabama ended up third in the BCS standings and Ohio State dropped after losing the Big Ten championship game and heading into the national title, both the Tigers and Seminoles are looked at as the best teams in the nation. Michigan State ended two years of not losing for the Buckeyes and now they will be in the Orange Bowl after getting the chance to play their way into the national championship game against the Spartans, who now will play against Stanford in the Rose Bowl.

Winston had an amazing season for the Seminoles and set numerous records as a freshman with over 35 touchdowns and 3,800 passing yards and now they will play against Auburn in the national championship game. The Tigers were nearly left for dead after falling behind to Georgia, but instead the team pulled out a miracle win on a last second pass and many thought that game would be the best of the year, but then the Tigers faced off against Bama in the Iron Bowl and changed all that. The game was tied when Alabama attempted a field goal at the end of regulation and that kick missed and was returned by Chris Davis for the most unlikely touchdown of the season and it totally turned the BCS on its head.

The SEC championship game saw the breakout of Tre Mason and he ended up as a finalist for the Heisman after rushing for over 300 yards and scoring four touchdowns in the game and now Auburn enters the championship as the toughest rushing team in the nation. The game will likely come down to which side can stop the other's greatest strength, with Auburn needing to shut down Winston and the Seminoles needing to somehow stop the Tigers from rushing the ball. Auburn comes into the game 12-1 and gives the chance for the SEC to continue its reign as national champion and the Seminoles appear to be one of the toughest teams to contend with, as they have a top ranked defense and an offense that can rack up points.

The other BCS games are very good as well, with Ohio State playing against Clemson in the Orange Bowl and that comes after the Buckeyes slipped from two into the seventh spot in the standings after losing against Michigan State. Clemson lost to Florida State this season and in the Rose Bowl it will be the Spartans and the Stanford Cardinal after they each won the Big Ten and Pac-12 respectively. The two teams are playing in Pasadena and that is where the national championship game will be later on the schedule.
