Best Fantasy Football Keepers 2013: Josh Gordon and Rashad Jennings Top Players To Keep For 2014 Season

The fantasy football season is nearing its conclusion and that means owners in fantasy leagues can start looking to next year and for those in keep leagues, that means deciding on which players to hold into the 2014 season and this year there are two great choices on offense in Josh Gordon and Rashad Jennings.

Gordon has been one of the best players in fantasy football this season and he is now first in the league in yards with 1,467 for the season and he has nine touchdowns and over the past five weeks he has simply been amazing. Gordon has two touchdowns of 80 yards or more and has six in the last five games and on top of that he went for 237 yards and 261 yards in consecutive weeks, something no one had ever done and before those games and after he had 125 yards and 151 yards respectively, making 36 catches over that span. Jennings has been very solid for McFadden and now he has 679 yards rushing for the season and with Darren McFadden likely gone, he could be the new starter.

Gordon has very good speed for his size and he was the primary target for Brandon Weeden last season, leading the Browns with over 90 targets and he finished with 50 receptions last season for over 800 yards and five scores and he averaged almost 20 yards per catch and that makes him a nice keeper option pickup going forward as long as he stays healthy over the final two games.

Gordon missed time this season after he was suspended for failing a drug test and violating the league' substance abuse policy and he also could be facing a year suspension if it happens again. The loss of Trent Richardson had no effect on Gordon and his production and he had a period of success this season that has never been done by a wide receiver.

Jennings has been one of the best backs in fantasy football this season and over a three week span earlier in the season he had a great stretch with Darren McFadden out and with him likely leaving as a free agent, Jennings is a great keeper pick. In one of his starts for McFadden, Jennings touched the ball 24 times and had 22 carries for 150 yards and a score in the win over the Texans and that gives him two rushing touchdowns in the last three games. Jennings has been over 85 yards in each of the last three contests and he has been over 100 in two of those games and he will have a solid matchup against the Titans this week.

McFadden has been banged up all year and it has been Jennings who has been the most productive on the team and he had 340 yards in a three game span, while McFadden had 350 on the year at that points and Jennings now has more than him overall. Jennings has been solid catching the ball out of the backfield as well and he has 12 catches over the past five weeks and has 257 total receiving yards this season.
