Fantasy Football Playoffs Pickups: Andre Caldwell, DeAngelo Williams, Greg Jennings, Jordan Todman Week 16

The fantasy football season is now into the playoffs and with championship matchup coming, some of the best teams need replacements for injured players and the top pickups for the Week 16 matchups includes Andre Caldwell, DeAngelo Williams, Greg Jennings, Jordan Todman and Michael Crabtree.

The Broncos lost on Thursday and will be looking to get back on track and if Wes Welker is still dealing with his concussion issues, Andre Caldwell is a solid option for a replacement. Caldwell had a solid game in the loss and made it into the end zone multiple times and those are the type of valuable points that fantasy owners need in the playoffs. Williams is the top running back on the Panthers are he will be getting even more carries with Jonathan Stewart out. Carolina is in a fierce battle with the Saints for the NFC South division title and that means Williams should get a steady dose of touches and that could mean a big game coming up in Week 16.

Greg Jennings is coming off of his best game of the season and with the Vikings playing against the Bengals, Minnesota can play spoiler in the AFC and he could end up having another solid game for the team after having at least 50 yards in the last three games. Todman is the starter in Jasonville with Maurice Jones-Drew out and he has performed well and now he likely will be getting the majority of carries for the final two weeks of the season and teams needing a replacement for someone like Adrian Peterson if he is out should look at Todman. There are plenty of waiver options this week and this could be the last chance to snag some sleepers as well.

As if Peyton Manning didn't have enough weapons already, Caldwell has emerged as a solid option for Welker and he had two touchdowns against the Chargers on Thursday and that could bode well for him down the back stretch of the season. Caldwell had just one catch in three games before the Chargers matchup and he finished with 11 targets and six catches for 59 yards and scored two touchdowns and now he could be a very good pickup for players in PPR leagues, as the team plays against the weak Houston Texans and it's on the road in a dome, great news for Manning and his hands.

Williams has been one of the most consistent backs in fantasy this season and while he has just two touchdowns, he has made up for it in other ways, making 23 catches this season for over 250 yards. With Stewart out, Williams gets the most carries over Mike Tolbert and last week he had over 160 totals yard, including 81 on the ground and 87 in the air on three catches and he also scored a receiving touchdown and with the Panthers playing the Saints at home, he could be in line for another big day.

Jennings had his best game of the season with 11 catches on 13 targets for 163 yards and he also added a touchdown to give him two scores in the past three games. The Bengals have been weak in the secondary as of late and with Matt Cassel playing well enough, Jennings could have another good day. Todman should also have a nice chance at a good game Sunday.
