The NCAA College Football Bowl season is here and with that comes predictions for all the games and the big BCS bowl matchups on ESPN and here is a look at some projections for those matchups in 2013-2014, as Florida State leads the way against Auburn in the VIZIO BCS National Championship and that could be the best game of the bowl season.
Florida State comes into the matchup undefeated and Auburn made it in after defeating Alabama in the Iron Bowl and then Missouri in the SEC championship game and they stormed back from a terrible season last year and now they will take on FSU. Tre Mason went for over 300 yards on the ground and had four touchdowns for the Tigers and that got him to NYC as a Heisman finalist and while he likely will lose to Jameis Winston, Mason hopes that the national title game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena turns out differently.

The BCS matchups have the potential to be very good this season, as a number of top teams made it into the big games after losing out on their national title chances. Alabama is in after losing to Auburn and now they are at numbers three in the ranks, while Ohio State lost in the Big Ten championship game to Michigan State and now they will be in a BCS bowl game rather than the national championship and while that was disappointing, the team has a chance to end the season on a high note in the Orange Bowl. The Buckeyes will face off against Clemson in that game and the Tigers have plenty of talent and that should make it a great game, as Braxton Miller and Tahj Boyd will be facing off in the matchup in Florida and that game will be on ESPN, as will all the BCS bowl games.
The Discover Orange Bowl could be a great matchup and the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl might be the most interesting, as the Baylor Bears and the UCF Knights will be facing off and both teams can put up points. Baylor won the Big 12 and the Knights won the AAC spot and now the two teams will face off in Arizona and with Bryce Petty bringing in an offense that is averaging over 600 yards per game and 50 points, the game could have some explosive plays and numbers.
The Allstate Sugar Bowl has two classic BCS teams in the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oklahoma Sooners and Nick Saban will be bringing his team back after losing out on their chance to make it into the national title game. The Sooners come in after derailing Oklahoma State and Alabama now has AJ McCarron playing in his last game and it could be a great one. The Rose Bowl is a classic matchup with Michigan State and Stanford.
