Warren Sapp is known as an outspoken television analyst, but he took that to another level on Tuesday night, as he dropped an f-bomb live on NFL Network when he didn't t realize his microphone was still on.
According to Deadspin.com, Sapp was off-camera when the network was running a segment on NFL Total Access with former Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli, who was taking over the same segment for Michael Lombardi, speaking about the New England Patriots and their draft plans.
Off-camera, Sapp was heard saying the segment was: "the same fucking speech that we had Mike Lombardi give, the fucking Bill Belichick fucking angle.
Greg A. Bedard translated the quote on Twitter after Sapp first said it, writing: Somebody, perhaps Warren Sapp, said "This is the same bleeping segment we had Mike Lombardi do. The bleeping Bill Belichick bleeping angle."
The Patriots are known to try and collect draft picks throughout the years to stockpile for certain drafts and Bill Belichick has a distinct way that he runs his war room , which is why the network brought in Lomnbardi and Pioli, who both have experience with the coach. Belichick has been fairly successful over his time in New England, drafting players like Tom Brady, Vince Wilfork and Jerrod Mayo.
Sapp is not the first television personality to be caught on a microphone when they didn't realize and some of the reason he mentioned his disdain for the segment was probably due to his disdain of the Patriots and Belichick during his career.
