More trouble is on the way for LeSean McCoy as he is under investigation for allegedly assaulting two off duty Philadelphia police officers.

The two officers, both 40 year old men, allegedly got into an altercation with a group of four black males between the ages of 26-30. The altercation took place inside Recess nightclub in the Old City district. The argument was sparked over the ownership of a bottle of alcohol which led to 4 men assaulting the officers. The officers were kicked and stomped as they were on the ground and ended up with injuries so severe they had to be taken to the hospital.

The officers received injuries including, severe lacerations, broken ribs, a sprained thumb, a broken nose, and a possible skull fracture.

Police are investigating the situation and while the incident was not caught on video inside of the club there is a camera that recorded those involved in the altercation being ejected from the nightclub right outside so police hope to identify the individuals from the security tapes. It is not clear whether or not McCoy or any of the other men involved in the incident were injured. McCoy is one of the men under investigation
