The Super Bowl injury report has updates for Thomas Davis, Darian Stewart, TJ Ward, Ryan Kalil, Roman Harper, Jared Allen and Jonathan Stewart as the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers prepare to play.

The Panthers have Thomas Davis coming into the big game banged up, as the linebacker suffered a broken arm against the Arizona Cardinals. According to ESPN.com, Davis said that he plans on playing in the Super Bowl in two weeks in Santa Clara and the linebacker already underwent surgery for the injury. Davis said that he will consult the Panthers medical staff about his recovery, but that he is determined to play in the Super Bowl. Darian Stewart and TJ Ward both were injured for the Broncos against the Patriots, but the safeties are expected to be ready for the Super Bowl.

Roman Harper and Ryan Kalil had to leave the game against the Cardinals for the Panthers, but both players are expected to play in the Super Bowl. Kalil dealt with a knee injury and left in the second quarter, while Harper was forced to leave with an eye injury in the first half of the game. According to AL.com, Harper said that he will be ready to play in the Super Bowl after not being able to see out of his righty eye after being hit by teammate Luke Kuechly in the game against the Cardinals. Harper said that his vision came back by the time the game ended.

Stewart suffered an MCL sprain for the Broncos in the game against the Patriots, but NFL.com reports that he should be "food to go" for the Super Bowl. Ward suffered an ankle injury against the Pats and he had already been dealing with an ankle issue coming into the game. Ward said that the two weeks leading into the Super Bowl should give him time to recover from the aggravated injury. Jonathan Stewart was listed as probable for the NFC title game, but he had no issues and did not suffer any setbacks in the game and will be good to go for the Super Bowl.

Jared Allen missed the NFC title game with a broken bone in his foot and now he will have two weeks to show that he is healthy enough to play in the Super Bowl. The Charlotte Observer reports that Ron Rivera said that Allen may have been able to play in the championship game, but that the team did not want Allen to aggravate the injury and potentially knock him out for the Super Bowl. Rivera said that Allen has "two weeks to get ready, and prove to me that he's ready to roll."
