The Dallas Cowboys host the Washington Redskins at 4:25 p.m. ET as they go at it on this Thanksgiving Day evening.
Not only is this game big because it's featured on Thanksgiving Day and we all know football and turkey are a match made in heaven, but we also see two NFC East teams with a lot of history go head to head.
The Cowboys are chasing the Giants and the Redskins are chasing the Cowboys.
The 5-5 Cowboys got to .500 after winning back-to-back games as the season looked to have slipped right through their fingers.
Tony Romo and the Cowboys made a huge comeback last week against Cleveland Browns as they were down 13-0 after the second half.
For the Redskins, they kept their hopes alive after crushing the lowly Philadelphia Eagles. They are 4-6 and only a game behind the Cowboys, while trailing the Giants by by two games in the NFC East.
It is safe to say that the victor today will have a great chance of competing for that first place spot in the division.
Tony Romo has to take advantage of the Redskins' weak secondary as they give up over 280 yards over the air per game. Romo has three receivers over 700 yards, Witten, Miles and Bryant.
The Redskins have the 2nd best running game in the NFL and will contend against a good Cowboys defense. Look for Robert Griffin III to confuse the Cowboys with their option plays.
