The Oklahoma Sooners and Clemson Tigers are playing live on the College Football Playoff semifinal schedule on Thursday and the Orange Bowl game is from Sun Life Stadium. The game starts at 4 pm ET on ESPN with TV coverage and also will be streaming on the WatchESPN website from Miami.

The Sooners come into the game as the fourth ranked team in the playoff and they will be facing off against the number one team in Clemson. Oklahoma is 11-1 this season and they come in as Big 12 champs, while the Tigers are 13-0 and the champs of the ACC. The Tigers are looking to continue their undefeated season into the championship game, which will have the winner of this face the winner of Alabama and Michigan State.

The Tigers have the chance to be the first team ever to go 15-0 if they can win the next two games, but that will be no easy feat with the teams left in the CFP. These two teams played last year in the Russell Athletic Bowl and that matchup saw Oklahoma fall 40-6 against Clemson and this year the team will be looking to get some revenge.

Both teams have strong players on each side of the ball, with Clemson bringing in two conference players of the year in Deshaun Watson and Shaq Lawson. Watson was a Heisman finalist this year and he comes in with 3512 passing yards, 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season. Wayne Gallman and Artavis Scott are leading the team in rushing and receiving and those players will be big for the matchup. Gallman comes in with 10 TDs and 1332 rushing yards, while Scott has 84 catches for 805 yards.

Baker Mayfield is coming into the CFP after having a great season for Oklahoma, passing for 3389 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and five interceptions. Mayfield could be the key for the Sooners, but he has some support in Sanjae Perine, who has rushed for 1291 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. Clemson has had a high powered offense this season and Oklahoma will have to find a way to shut down Watson.

Clemson won over North Carolina to win the ACC title and the team now has won 16 straight games and will be looking to keep things going. Clemson has already played at Sun Life this season, beating Miami 58-0 and the team would love to get the score up against Oklahoma early for this game. Clemson is getting Scott back healthy after dealing with an injury and he will be a key player to watch.
