Detroit Lions

Calvin Johnson (Wide Receiver): Johnson just burned fantasy owners all over the world. He put up easily his worst fantasy playoff stat line ever. Be warned what you are about to see is shocking, 1 reception 19 yards. Johnson has been questionable for the last two weeks and it was assumed that he should be a key factor in his best matchup this season however that could not have been farther from the truth.

New Orleans Saints

Tim Hightower (Running Back): Hightower struggled to be effective against a difficult Lions run defense. He did get into the end zone however the touchdown got called back thanks to an offensive penalty. It also did not help matters much that the Saints were down for most of the game. Hightower finished the game with only 13 rushing attempts that gained 54 yards. He also caught 3 of his 4 targets for 31 yards.

Drew Brees (Quarterback): Brees had an excellent game but he just did not have enough to pull out the victory. Brees completed 34 of his 52 passing attempts for 341 yards and 3 touchdowns. After the game Brees was seen in a protective boot for his foot and is expected to receive an MRI.

Brandin Cooks (Wide Receiver): Cooks had an incredible game just when fantasy owners would need him the most. Cooks hauled in 10 out of his 13 targets for 124 yards and a touchdown. He could not have come through at a more clutch time.
