The Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers are playing on the Week 15 NFL schedule and the matchup from Heinz Field starts at 4:25 pm ET. The game is big for the AFC playoffs, as both teams are looking to keep things going in the conference standings and a win would be big for both.
Peyton Manning is not yet ready to start even though he has been back at practice and that means another game for Brock Osweiler. The Steelers have Ben Roethlisberger coming in hot and they will need him to have a good game against a strong Broncos defense on Sunday. The Steelers could get their 10th straight victory in the month of December with a win and that would be big as the team tries to stay in the wild card race.
The Chiefs, Jets and Steelers are all in the mix, but if all three win out, the Jets would stay home. Osweiler comes in after putting up 308 passing yards against the Raiders last week, but the Broncos lost and now the team will try and bounce back. Osweiler and Manning could be in for a battle once Manning is healthy, but it's likely Denver will start Manning once he is ready to play again.
The Broncos are behind the Patriots in the overall AFC standings and a win would help the team keep pace in the standings behind New England. The Pats won again so they have a strong chance at getting the top overall seed no matter what the other teams do. The Steelers offense has been productive this season and they face off against one of the best defensive units in the Broncos.
