Navy was hoping for a different ending to their season. The Midshipmen fell just short of winning the American Athletic conference with a loss to the Houston Cougars a week ago. The 52-31 matchup proved that Greg Ward Jr was just slightly better than Keenan Reynolds, but not by much. Reynolds has thrived on the national stage as one of the best college football players this season and he will prove that once again as the Navy aim to keep their streak alive against Army.

Reynolds will be the focal point as the Navy aim for 14 straight victories in their series against Army. At 2-9, the Black Knights do not appear to be the best matchup against the dynamic Navy offense, but ending their season with a win over their biggest rivals would certainly salvage the season for the team. Meanwhile, Reynolds wants to end his record-setting year on a high note as many believed he was a Heisman trophy candidate.

The Navy quarterback has matched an FBS record with 83 touchdowns in his career while needing just one more to put him over Adrian Peterson and Terrance West. The quarterback can also rank third on the all-time list for rushing yards from a quarterback with 4,344 in his career. Reynolds has simply been amazing over his career and in this season in general as he narrowly missed out on the chance to get into the Heisman trophy conversation. Now he must pick things up against Arm as team he has put up five rushing touchdowns against. He was critical in the game last season as his one-yard touchdown run is what sealed the victory. Navy does not want to cut it close this season.

Army would love to have the consistency that Reynolds has brought to Navy. Over the season the team has started three different quarterbacks as Ahmad Bradshaw will likely get the nod against Navy. AJ Schurr saw time before getting hurt while Chris Carter played in the most recent game against Rutgers. That has certainly hurt the offense as Matt Giachinta will try and carry the load. The team ranks eighth in rushing with 254.0 yards per game. Navy ranks second with 330.1 yards per game. Army would love to play upset and finally get a win. However, Navy has simply been too efficient on offense to stop.
