The Green Bay Packers will have to avoid losing four straight to the Minnesota Vikings who have been absolutely on fire. The Packers were looked at as one of the more dominant teams in the NFL until their loss to the Broncos and Panthers two teams that only have 1 loss between them. It was the loss to Detroit that made the Packers look pretty bad. The Lions are not even close to being playoff contender and yet they held their own against what was supposed to be the best offense in the league. The Packers troubles are largely due to the fact that they cannot get a running game going. Both James Starks and Eddie Lacy have been supremely mediocre.

When Starks is supposed to start he plays below expectations and Lacy cannot seem to get anything going at all. This forces Aaron Rodgers to throw a ton but that generally is not a problem. Rodgers is a little banged up and might be suffering from a slight shoulder injury but to make matters worse his wide receiving corps are barely helping him. It's been a below average year for most of the Packers but an above average year for the Vikings defense and their best offensive weapons. If the Vikings win this game they will send the Packers back a few games in the playoff race as well as help solidify their own position atop the division.
