The Miami Dolphins won over the Eagles on Sunday to remain in the AFC playoff picture after improving to 4-5 heading into Week 11. The team had Jay Ajayi playing behind Lamar Miller and he is the clear number two now and is worth looking at as a fantasy football free agent option for owners for the back stretch of the season.

The Dolphins came back from 13 points down to win over the Eagles on Sunday and while the team has a losing record, they remain alive in the AFC playoff race. The standings are tight, but if the Dolphins can finish the season strong, they have a chance to make the playoffs. Jarvis Landry made the game winning touchdown catch after a deflection on Ryan Tannehill's pass attempt and the win now gives the team some momentum heading into Week 11.

The Dolphins also got a boost in the running game from Jay Ajayi, who had 48 yards as the backup behind Lamar Miller. Ajayi returned to the team last week from IR after dealing with a rib injury and he injected some explosiveness to the offense. Miller remains the starter for the Dolphins, but Miami likes how Ajayi has been running the ball and fantasy football owners could use him as a handcuff or Flex option for the back stretch of the season.

Ajayi had six rushes for 48 yards in the game and this season he has been averaging over eight yards per carry in two games. Dan Campbell said that Ajayi would be more involved this week after looking good in his first game against Buffalo and he should continue getting touches behind Miller for the rest of the season if he remains healthy. Miller has been the rushing the ball well in recent weeks, but Miami likes the one-two punch that Ajayi provides behind Miller and likely will push that for the rest of the schedule.

The Dolphins have no chance in the division race with the Patriots improving to 9-0 this season, but the team remains alive for a wild card spot. The AFC has a number of teams with at least four wins and right now the two wild card teams are the Steelers (6-4) and the Bills (5-4). The Dolphins have lost twice to the Bills this season, but the team has a game against the Jets that could play into the wild card standings and the schedule the rest of the way is not that difficult.

The Dolphins are in the mix with the Jets, Chiefs, Raiders and potentially the Texans for a wild card spot and if Miami can finish the rest of the way with a winning record, they could sneak in. Ryan Tannehill has been inconsistent over the past few weeks and if he can shape up, Miami will have a good chance to make some noise in the AFC race. Tannehill went 21-of-36 for 217 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday and coming up the team is playing against the Cowboys, who have now lost seven straight games.
