Detroit Lions

Calvin Johnson (Wide Receiver): A big key in this matchup is if Sam Shields is active. Shields has been injured and if he sits out Johnson will have a ton of time to get deep and make some big plays. Green bay has been extremely stingy on wide receivers however that could end against Megatron. The Lions have to win a game some time and Johnson is overdue for a monster fantasy day.

Eric Ebron (Tight End): Green bay has given up the 9th most fantasy points to tight ends however if Sam Shields does play and shadows Calvin Johnson all game Ebron will be Stafford's primary target. This is all assuming Stafford is accurate.

Green Bay Packers

Randall Cobb/Davante Adams/James Jones (Wide Receivers): Detroit has given up the 6th most fantasy points to wide receivers however picking which wide receiver that will see significant production is a brand new problem all together. With the emergence of Davante Adams last week James Jones will likely slide down the depth chart; one would expect Cobb and Adams to be the main beneficiaries of this passing attack but Richard Rodgers is always waiting in the wings to vulture a touchdown. Out of all of the Packers wide receivers Cobb is the most solid starter.

Aaron Rodgers (Quarterback): Detroit gives up the 4th most fantasy points to quarterbacks which means that Rodgers who is due for a bounce back game could explode against the Lions. Rodgers should see multiple touchdowns in this game but Detroit is pretty much playing for pride at this point, which makes them a bit more dangerous and angry than before.

Eddie Lacy/James Starks (Running backs): It seems as if every time we have this situation figured out the other running back seems to step up. Lacy should see all of the goal line looks while Starks should see the early down work. Lacy should be able to overpower this Lions defense while Starks may find himself smothered by it.
