DeAndre Jordan #6 of the Los Angeles Clippers is fouled by Dirk Nowitzki #41 of the Dallas Mavericks during the second quarter of the basketball game Staples Center October 29, 2015, in Los Angeles California. "

The Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks are set on the NBA schedule on Wednesday and the game from ESPN has DeAndre Jordan coming to the American Airlines Center after spurning the Mavs in free agency this offseason. The game starts at 8 pm ET and is on the WatchESPN website for online coverage and there should be some extra noise in the building with Jordan coming in.

The Clippers have gotten off to a strong start this season and the team comes in after a win against the Grizzlies. The team is 5-2 and second in the division standings behind the Warriors and before winning over Memphis, the team had lost two straight to the Rockets and Golden State. The Mavs come into the game after losing to the Pelicans and the team has lost three of the last four games and come in at 3-4 and third in the division standings in the Southwest.

This will be the first time that Jordan is playing in Dallas since making his decision to sign back with the Clippers after agreeing to a deal with the Mavs (verbally). Jordan likely will hear some booing from the crowd and the Mavericks have the chance to at least get a little revenge with a win on Wednesday. Mark Cuban has been talking about the move and the Clippers quite a bit and there is no love lost there and this should have a little bit extra drama because of the Jordan story.

The two teams have played already this season and the Clippers won that game on October 29 at home at the Staples Center. Jordan had 15 rebounds in that game and he has been averaging 17 rebounds in the last eight games against the Mavericks. Blake Griffin had 24 points and 12 rebounds against the Grizzlies in the last win for the Clippers and he is looking to have another strong game. Griffin had 26 points and 10 rebounds in the first game with Dallas and he has been off to a strong start this season.

Dallas will have Chandler Parsons, Deron Williams and Wesley Matthews in the mix after those players missed the first Clippers game with injuries. The Mavs shot 36.1 percent in that game and the team is hoping for a better result on Wednesday. The loss by the Mavs in the last game coupled with the emotion from Jordan coming in could motivate the team to get a win against the Clippers. Griffin is the main player the Mavs need to shut down and the fans obviously will try their best to get Jordan off of his game.
