The Philadelphia Eagles have lost Jordan Hicks for the season with an injury after the linebacker went down against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. Riley Cooper was also injured in the game and Sam Bradford led the Cowboys to an overtime win with some help from Jordan Matthews, DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews.

The Eagles improved to 4-4 on the season with the victory and they remain right in the mix with the NY Giants for the NFC East division title. The Eagles earned the victory, but they lost Hicks to a serious injury, as Jay Glazer at Fox Sports reported that Hicks is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle. Initial reports about the rookie linebacker were that he would miss two to four weeks, but after having an MRI the extent of the damage was revealed, according to Pro Football Talk.

Hicks had a strong game before being injured, returning an interception off of Matt Cassel for a touchdown. Hicks was a third round pick out of Texas and he had 50 total tackles this season and two interceptions with one sack. The Eagles have been dealing with injuries at linebacker with Kiko Alonso and Mychal Kendricks at various points this season and now the team will be without Hicks.

DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews continue to split work for the Eagles and fantasy owners should continue using both players moving forward. Murray had 18 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys along with six catches for another 78 yards. Murray had 161 total yards in the game and Mathews also had his touches, carrying the ball 11 times for 67 yards and a touchdown. Murray was not getting the ball enough early in the season and things have started to fall more in his favor over Mathews, but both players have been productive for the Eagles.

Riley Cooper had to leave the game on Sunday night against the Cowboys with a foot injury, but he was able to return. Cooper only played nine snaps in the game and was not targeted and there is chance he could miss time moving forward for the Eagles. Cooper has been a disappointment this season and has just 11 catches in eight games. Nelson Agholor was out again for the Eagles with an ankle injury, but Chip Kelly said it was more of a "precaution," according to the team website. Agholor now could be set to return for Week 10.

Sam Bradford had a solid game against the Cowboys, completing 25-of-36 passes for 295 yards and a touchdown, which was the game winner to Jordan Matthews. Kelly has supported Bradford through some struggles and this season he is completing 62 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Bradford has been good enough for the Eagles this season and he has also been healthy, which has been a good/bad thing for Philly. Good because he is the starting quarterback, but bad because now the team will not receive a conditional fourth round pick from the Rams, according to Adam Schefter at ESPN.
