Buffalo Bills Rumors: LeSean McCoy Injury Serious? Karlos Williams Fantasy Starter Week 10 as Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods Help Tyrod Taylor

The Buffalo Bills are playing an important game on a short week which means injuries can be a concern in the coming days. The Bills did get Sammy Watkins back on the field alongside Tyrod Taylor, but the win over the Miami Dolphins cost them the health of LeSean McCoy. Playing on a short week is worrisome for the running back, but he denies the idea that a should issue is going to keep him off the field.

McCoy suffered a shoulder injury in the win over the Dolphins that could leave him limited for Thursday's game against the New York Jets. This is the second injury McCoy has been hit with this year as he missed time for a hamstring injury as well. However, McCoy is making it clear that the shoulder injury is nothing to worry about and he will be fine for Week 10. Head coach Rex Ryan sand a bit of a different tune saying the running back would get an MRI to rule out serious injuries as he did not practice on Monday.

There might have been [an MRI], I don't know," Ryan said, via ESPN.com. "I know he is sore. But he might be able to make it through this walk-through today, I am not real sure. I think we will see how the week goes. Like I said, I just know he was wanting to go back in the game so that was a good sign."

The good news for the Bills is that if McCoy is out for Week 10, Karlos Williams is a very viable running back to fill the void. The rookie has been dominating on the field this season either in place of McCoy or as a backup working in rotation. He has returned from a concussion injury and the Bills feel very confident that both he and McCoy can excel in the backfield.

"Absolutely, absolutely," running back coach Anthony Lynn said. "You have to have a role for both of those two. Get them both through the season. This is the backfield we thought we'd have. Everybody's healthy and we feel good about that. We're getting healthy and some people are getting hurt."

The Bills have an interesting matchup in Week 10 considering it is Ryan going up against his former team. The battle between Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tyrod Taylor will certainly be a fun one to watch considering they were both backups when the year began. Taylor is thriving at the right time for the Bills. He and Watkins made the most of their time on Sunday while Robert Woods is proving to be a viable option to replace Percy Harvin who is out for the season. Despite going catchless in Week 9 thanks to breakout game for Watkins, the Bills believe Woods deserves a lot of playing time.

"Yeah just a blocking day," said Woods, via the team website. "One of those ones where the defense is giving us the ground game and we've just got to keep going to it. We had two running backs over 100 yards and sometimes you have to take what the defense gives you."
