Atlanta Falcons

Julio Jones (Wide Receiver): Jones saw a huge amount of targets in their week 9 loss. Jones was held out of the end zone all day by a stiff 49ers secondary who seemed to be playing for pride more than the playoffs. Jones hauled in 10 out of 17 targets for 137 yards.

Devonta Freeman (Running Back): Ladies and gentleman we have finally found Devonta Freeman's fantasy floor, and it is pretty decent. Freeman only had 12 yards on 12 carries however managed to haul in 8 out of 10 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown. If this is an example of Freeman's down week he will unequivocally be the best running back in fantasy football by the end of the season.

Matt Ryan (Quarterback): Matt Ryan is overrated, plain and simple. For a quarterback to have weapons like Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman and not beat the 49ers is almost impossible. The Saints lost to Marcus Mariota, a rookie Titan's starting quarterback, and he threw for 4 touchdowns. Ryan does not have bad games but nothing about him screams top 10 fantasy or NFL quarterback. Ryan finished the day completing 30 of 45 passing attempts for 303 yards and a touchdown. It is at this point owners would be wise to pick up Derek Carr or Marcus Mariota if they are relying on Ryan.

San Francisco 49ers

Pierre Thomas/Shaun Draughn (Running Back): Thomas actually proved to be a large non-factor in this game however the 49ers other free agent addition led the pack. Shaun Draughn led the 49ers in rushing with 16 carries for 58 yards. It looks like Draughn will be the starter until Carlos Hyde returns.

Torrey Smith/Anquan Boldin (Wide Receivers): Boldin was inactive however Smith should have been as he has done nothing for fantasy owners all season long. Smith even in seeing an increase in targets only managed to haul in 2 catches on 4 targets for 44 yards. Smith is not a relevant fantasy option anymore.
