St. Louis Rams

Todd Gurley (Running Back): Gurley continues to dominate opposing defenses even though he was held without a 40 plus yard run on the day. Gurley finished his day with 24 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown while hauling in 3 out of 5 targets for 20 yards. Even against a stout Minnesota run defense the focused on Gurley all day he still had solid production. Performance-wise he is better than Adrian Peterson this season, however Peterson has just been on the field longer.

Tavon Austin (Wide Receiver): Austin once again utilized his gadget role in this Rams offense. Austin only caught 4 of his 7 targets for 15 yards however he also had 8 carries for 66 yards. Austin may be a good wide receiver but in this offense he is a better running back.

Minnesota Vikings

Adrian Peterson (Running Back): Peterson got a ton of carries in this week 9 matchup. Peterson finished the game with 29 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for 18 yards. Peterson is one of the best running backs in the league and going head to head with the best rookie running back brought out the best in him.

Stefon Diggs (Wide Receiver): Diggs cooled off this week and things weren't helped when Bridgewater went down with a concussion. Diggs would end up only catching 3 of his 5 targets for 42 yards.
