LeBron James Says Lack Of Size Not A Major Concern For The Heat

One of the biggest things you can criticize the Miami Heat for are their complete lack of size in the paint, but according to LeBron James, size means very little as far as the Heat are concerned.

"Every team is taller than us. That doesn't mean they are bigger than us. Height doesn't mean anything. It's the heart, the passion that you play the game of basketball," James said. "Everyone is quick to try to find something about our team, and say we're too short or can't rebound or too small, we need a big. We went on and won a championship."

James serves a point in his statement when you look at how the Heat preform. Though it's true that they're small the team remains very aggressive when going after the ball.

An added plus to their small roster is that the cause matchup problems to their opponents. When playing against the Heat teams are forced to adjust their lineups to keep pace with the fast-breaking Heat, who are one of the best in the league.

Miami leaves Thursday on a six-game road trip, during which it will play four 2012 playoff teams, just about all of which - especially the Memphis Grizzlies - have bigger frontlines.
