The MLB playoffs has the Kansas City Royals leading the Toronto Blue Jays 2-0 in the American League Championship Series after winning 6-3 on Saturday. The New York Mets are leading the Chicago Cubs 1-0 in the National League Championship Series after winning 4-2 behind a strong start from Matt Harvey.

The Royals rallied against David Price to take the lead against the Jays and they hung on to win Game 2, taking a 2-0 advantage into the three games in Toronto. The Blue Jays just were down 2-0 in the ALDS against the Rangers and they are not going to panic despite losing both games in Kansas City. Yordano Ventura made the start for the Royals and after Wade Davis made things exciting at the end, the Royals closed out the game for the win.

Price was dealing against the Royals before Kansas City woke up and the team got five hits and scored five runs against the Blue Jays. Price now remains winless in seven postseason starts and he previously lost against Texas in the last series. The Royals were down 3-0 and it looked like the team would not be able to get anything going against Price. Mike Moustakas had two hits and two RBI for the Royals and now the team can go up 3-0 with a win in Toronto on Monday.

The Mets are up 1-0 in the National League Championship Series after winning against the Cubs 4-2 on Saturday night at Citi Field. Matt Harvey went seven innings for the Mets and had just two earned runs and the team now has the chance to go up 2-0 with a win on Sunday. Noah Syndergaard will face off against Jake Arrieta after Harvey and Jon Lester battled.

Harvey was sharp from the start of the game and he was perfect through four inning before hitting Anthony Rizzo with a pitch. The Cubs were able to score a run soon after that and the team also nearly added another one in that inning, but Yoenis Cespedes threw out Starlin Castro at the plate from left field on a great throw. The Mets still have Jacob deGrom to pitch in this series and the team feels they have an advantage over the Cubs due to their pitching.
