The USC Trojans and Notre Dame Fighting Irish are playing live on the college football schedule on Saturday night and the game is on NBC from TV and streaming on the NBC Sports Live Extra website. The game is from Notre Dame stadium and has the Irish coming in ranked at number 14 and looking to keep things going, while Cody Kessler and the Trojans are trying to rebound after the firing of Steve Sarkisian.
The Trojans are coming in at 3-2 and looking to get things going and they will have a tough test against the Irish in South Bend. The Notre Dame defense has been solid and now the team is looking to shut down the Trojans and Kessler with Clay Helton coming in as the interim head coach. Notre Dame lost to Clemson and then won over Navy and the team will try and push CJ Prosise, who rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns in the game.

Kessler did not play well against Washington and he is looking to bounce back after passing for just 156 yards and zero touchdowns. DeShone Kizer has had to step in for Malik Zaire and he has done a strong job and now the team needs another solid game from the QB. The Trojans come into the game after a loss to Washington and the team has Utah next on the schedule and that will be a tough game and the team also has California coming up. The Trojans are trying to get through the season on a positive note after a tough stretch and this next stretch on the schedule could be the difference between a bowl game or not.
USC has Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and UCLA to finish the season, while Notre Dame has Temple and Pitt next. The team comes in after winning over Navy and that was a bounce back from the loss to Clemson and now the Irish have the yearly game with the Trojans.The schedule has Wake Forest, Boston College and Stanford to end the season and that will be a big game with how the Cardinal have played.
Kessler has had a strong season with 15 touchdowns and just three picks with nearly 1500 passing yards and he will be looking to bounce back in this game. Prosise has been excellent and he is in the Heisman conversation with 779 yards and nine touchdowns this season. Notre Dame is allowing just over 20 points per game and the USC defense has played fairly well, allowing 17 points per game. Both teams are averaging over 35 points per game and this could be an offensive game for both sides.
