The Arizona Cardinals are currently stacked at running back.

They have put 3 capable backs on their team, and they are all in positions to continue to have success. Andre Ellington may be the only outlier as he has missed a lot of time with injury but the balance between Chris and David Johnson is absolutely magnetic.

Chris Johnson has had two 100 yard games in his last 3 but only has two touchdowns on the season. C. Johnson is a legit fantasy stud who will continue to rack up yards and be depended on as an early down back. Andre Ellington on the other hand is more of a playmaker and was the starter before he got injured early in the season. Ellington only had 3 carries last week but he had 63 yards and a touchdown.

As his health improves Ellington may earn his way back to the top of the running back depth chart. David Johnson is the wild card. Bruce Arians hates depending on rookies especially in positions of need and that is why D. Johnson has been catching a ton of passes and returning kicks, because he is doing all of the extra work.

In year two he will absolutely be a dominant back and will get the snaps that a lead back will get however even without all the attempts Johnson sill has 3 touchdowns in 5 games. With the way the Cardinals are playing every running back in that offense should get their chances.
